How does TV Caller ID work?
TV Caller ID will work on TiVo whole-home DVRs and connected TiVo Minis, as well as on Cisco and Scientific Atlanta digital cable boxes. Currently, TV Caller ID doesn’t work on non-DVR TiVo SmartBoxes.
On your TiVo DVR: Press the TiVo button at the top of your remote and navigate to Menu > Settings > User Preferences > Caller ID Select: On/Off. Caller ID should be On by default.
On Cisco and Scientific Atlanta cable boxes: Go to channel 999 to make sure TV Caller ID is set to Enabled. If it says Disabled, press the yellow triangle [A] button on your remote, then highlight Caller ID status and change it to Enable.
Please note, it may take up to 2 business days for TV Caller ID to function after installation of cable or phone service.
How do I set up PC Caller ID?
Download the PC Caller ID software. After you launch the program, it will ask for a username and password. Your username is your 10-digit phone number, and your password is your 9-digit Blue Ridge account number. Please note, PC Caller ID is not compatible with Macintosh computers.
