How do I change my speed online or from the mobile app?
My Blue Ridge app:
- Log into the My Blue Ridge app.
- Tap the Menu button in the top left, and then tap Internet Service.
- The Internet Service screen displays your current speed and rate. Scroll down to view other available speeds. Tap Order Now on the requested speed.
- A confirmation screen will appear with a link to the terms and conditions. Tap Order Now to process an immediate speed change, or tap Cancel to go back.
- Please note: your modem will reboot for the change to take effect, so you’ll briefly lose internet connection.
- If your current modem isn’t capable of a certain speed, the page will specify the modem needed and advise you to call to upgrade.
Web browser:
- Log into https://www.brctv.com/login. You will be taken to the Summary screen.
- Scroll to Your Equipment & Services. Under Internet, click View Details. Alternately, in the top taskbar, click Services, and then click the Internet tab.
- The Internet Services & Equipment screen lists data usage, the equipment present in your home, and available higher and lower speeds, as well as the change to your monthly rate. Click Upgrade Speed under your current plan rate, or scroll down to Shop Different Plans.
- Available higher speeds will be listed, along with the change in your rate that would occur. Click Upgrade Your Plan to proceed.
- If your current modem isn’t capable of a certain speed, the page will specify the modem needed and present Call or Chat buttons to upgrade.
- A confirmation screen will appear. Review the changes requested. Terms and conditions are provided. Click Order Now to process an immediate speed change, or click Never mind to go back.
- Please note: your modem will reboot for the change to take effect, so you’ll briefly lose internet connection.
