Device Protection can be added to a Blue Ridge Mobile device to protect against accidents, theft or loss. Blue Ridge Mobile partners with ProtectCELL by Fortegra to offer handset protection.
- You can enroll when purchasing a device and will have 30 days after purchase to enroll.
- If choosing to BYOD (Bring your own device), you will have the option to enroll with a Fortegra Membership if desired.
- There is a diagnostics step required for any BYOD enrollment to verify the device is in good condition. The diagnostics check is easily completed via an emailed link that is sent by ProtectCell/Fortegra.
- Protection is not currently extended to foldable devices. Example: Samsung Flip/Fold.
- Fortegra’s Comprehensive Protection plan covers mechanical and electrical failure due to all types of physical or liquid damage, plus protection from loss or theft

- Fortegra will then process your request and disclose any fees that may be associated.
- Once approved, a replacement device is sent to your home address
- You will also receive a mailer to return your damaged device. The device must be returned in 14 days.
- A Non-Returned fee will be assessed if not returned.
- If your device is lost, you will not have to return any device.

Device Replacement Warranty

- When Fortegra sends a replacement device it will have a 1 year warranty. If the replacement device arrives in non-working condition, they will handle a replacement order immediately.
