How do I use/set up my voicemail?
Lift the receiver and listen for a dial tone. Dial *33 to access the main voicemail menu.
Main Menu:
- Press 1 to Listen to messages
- Press 8 for Personal Options
- Press 9 to Repeat the menu again
- Press 0 to Exit
If you have a message after pressing 1 from the Main Menu:
- Any new or saved message will play automatically
- Press 1 to Skip message
- Press 2 to Save message
- Press 3 to Delete message
- Press 9 to Repeat the menu again
- Press 0 to Exit
Personal Options Menu:
- Press 1 to Create/Change PIN Number
- When prompted to enter PIN Code, enter 4 to 10 digits followed by # symbol
- Press 2 to Record Personal Greeting (for when callers reach your voicemail)
- Press 3 to Record Personal Name
- Press 5 to Set Call Forwarding
- Press 6 to Set Call Forward Screening Number
- Press 9 to Repeat the menu again
- Press 0 to Exit
How to access voicemail at home:
If you have a message waiting in your voicemail, you will hear a stutter tone before the standard dial tone when you lift the phone receiver. Dial *33 to access your voicemail box. You won’t need to enter a PIN if you’re accessing voicemail from your home phone.
How to access voicemail online:
From the My Blue Ridge app:
- Download the My Blue Ridge app and sign into your account.
- From the home screen, tap Check Voicemail. Alternately, tap the Menu button
in the top left corner and select Check Voicemail. You can listen to messages either way.
- Tap View Mailbox Settings to view or change other phone options.
From your web browser:
- Sign into your My Blue Ridge account at com/login. You’ll be taken to the Summary screen.
- In the Quick Links box on the right, click Check Your Voicemail.
- Voicemails will list the caller, date/time, and message length.

- Click Play Voicemail
to listen to a voicemail in your browser.
- Click Download
(or right-click this button and choose Save Link As) to download an mp3 of the voicemail message.
- Click Delete
to delete the voicemail message. Please note this cannot be undone. Deleted voicemails cannot be retrieved. If you wish to save a voicemail permanently, download the mp3 file.
- If you have not set up your voicemail, or the feature has been deactivated, you will see a message indicating this:
- Click Play Voicemail
How to access voicemail by phone when away from home:
- Dial your 10-digit home phone number.
- As soon as your voicemail greeting begins, interrupt it by pressing the # key.
- When prompted, enter your PIN, followed by the # key.
- Choose an option from the Main Menu.
