Can I forward my calls to another number?
Yes. You can set it up online or from your home phone. If you would like to only forward one or more specific callers to another number, please see “Can I forward calls from just one or a few specific numbers?” below.
Please note: Activating call forwarding will disable Nomorobo.
How to forward all calls online:
- Access the Admin Portal from the My Blue Ridge app or website.
- Hover your cursor over the line displaying your phone number and click Edit.
- More options will appear. Scroll down to Call Handling and click the Forward All tab.
- In the Forwarding Number field, enter the number to which you want all calls forwarded as 11 digits (1 + area code and number).
- When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
To disable call forwarding with your My Blue Ridge account:
- Follow steps 1-3 above.
- Delete the Forwarding number listed. You will see a “Forwarding Number is required” error.
- Click another tab such as Ring Phone.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
How to forward all calls from your home phone:
- Dial *72 from your home phone.
- Press 1 to forward all calls.
- Enter the 11-digit phone number (1 + area code and number) to which you wish to forward calls, followed by the # key.
- You will receive a confirmation, and the call will end.
To disable call forwarding from your phone:
- Dial *72 from your home phone.
- Press 1 to send calls to your home number.
- You will receive a confirmation, and the call will end.
Can I forward calls from just one or a few specific numbers?
Yes. With Selective Call Forwarding, you can have certain numbers forwarded to another number, while all other calls come through normally.
How to forward select callers online:
- Access the Admin Portal from the My Blue Ridge app or website.
- Hover your cursor over the line displaying your phone number and click Edit.
- More options will appear. Under Call Screening, in the Screening Forward Number field, enter the number to which you want these callers forwarded as 11 digits (1 + area code and number).
- Next to Call Screening, click the + Add Caller button.
- A Custom Caller field will appear. Enter the phone number to be forwarded as 11 digits (1 + area code and number).
- Click the drop-down menu next to the Customer Caller number and select Forward.
- Repeat steps 4-6 as necessary to add further numbers.
- When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
To disable Selective Call Forwarding with your My Blue Ridge account:
- Follow the above steps 1 and 2.
- Click the blue x next to the number(s) you no longer wish to forward.
- When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
How to forward select callers from your home phone:
- You will first need to add a Screening Forward Number. To do so from your home phone, dial *33 to access the Voicemail menu.
- Press 8 for Personal Options and then press 6 to create a Call Screening Forward Number.
- Enter your Screening Forward Number as 11 digits (1 + area code and number), followed by the # key.
- Hang up and then dial *63 for Selective Call Forwarding.
- Enter the phone number to be forwarded as 11 digits (1 + area code and number), followed by the # key.
- The system will repeat the number of the caller to be forwarded.
To remove a number from Selective Call Forwarding using your home phone:
- Dial *80.
- Enter the phone number you no longer wish to be forwarded as 11 digits (1 + area code and number), followed by the # key.
- The system will repeat the number of the caller to be allowed.
