How do I obtain proof of residency?
Proof of residency may be required for purposes of work, school, the Department of Motor Vehicles, etc. Not every office will accept a cable bill as this proof, but we can provide an official proof of residency if needed. Please note that proof of residency only applies to the named account holder. While multiple people can be authorized to a Blue Ridge account, only one person can be listed as the account holder.
To obtain proof of residency, please bring a letter requesting the information and photo ID to your local office. In the case of a DMV request, we would also ask you to present our out-of-state driver’s license. An agent at the office will submit the information to our Collections Department, who will then mail out the requested information.
Please note: if your Blue Ridge service has not yet been installed, the information will not be sent until the installation is completed and the account is active.
