How do I sign up for text alerts?
We offer text message notifications for new bills, processed payments, appointment reminders, or data usage alerts.
My Blue Ridge app:
- Sign in to the My Blue Ridge app with your primary account.
- From the Home screen, click on the Menu and select Profile.
- Scroll to Text Alerts and click on Edit.
- Enter your preferred mobile phone number and check the notifications you wish to receive
- You will need to read the Terms & Conditions to proceed.
- Tap Save Edits when you’re done.
Web browser:
- Sign into https://www.brctv.com/login with your primary account. You’ll be taken to the Home screen.
- In the Quick Links box to the right, click Manage Text Alerts.
- Enter your preferred mobile phone number.

Click the checkbox next to the notifications you wish to receive.
- Click on Terms of Service. If prompted, click Accept to agree to the terms and proceed.
- Click Save Edits when you’re done, or Cancel to go back.
From your mobile phone:
Text the following short codes to 27288:
- ENROLL: Receive instructions on registering for text alerts from your My Blue Ridge account
- HELP: Receive instructions on how to contact Blue Ridge support
- STATUS: View which text alerts you are set to receive
- STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT: Stop all text alerts
- STOP APPOINTMENT: Stop appointment reminders only
- STOP PAYMENT: Stop processed payment notifications only
- STOP STATEMENT: Stop billing statement notifications only
